Here are some reasons why you should buy from us:
1. We will ALWAYS ship you the item that is offered and featured in our communications with you and for which you have paid. This is the first principle of our business and one which has ensured that we have not had a single return thus far.
2. We offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders over US$200 and offer very low shipping costs for orders below that! Our shipping aggregators have enough volume of business with international couriers such as Fedex, DHL and UPS, to offer us extremely competitive rates for international shipping. And it is our pleasure to pass on all that savings to you (with a very big thank you from us!).
3. We accept payments only through PAYPAL. This is to make sure that you have the option to protect your payment by instructing Paypal to hold your payment till the shipment has reached you.
4. We have the record of not having a single return. However, in the rare chance that you wish to return your delivered item, we offer FULL REFUND on the validation of any deficiency or defect in the item received and the return of the item to us. Return charges are payable by you.
5. We are FLEXIBLE and always happy to oblige with custom/bulk orders from buyers. Just send us the pictures or descriptions of the items you want and we will get back to you with what we can offer.
6. We take DROP SHIPPING orders from select partners. Contact us without hesitation if you have a proposal in mind for items such as those featured here or items related or similar to those featured here.

Born and bred in Assam, the northeastern Indian state that bordered Tibet, I grew up listening to my grand-aunt’s tales about Tibet and the devastating 8.6 magnitude Tibet-Assam earthquake of 1950. This earthquake occurred at a time when Assam still bordered Tibet and before it had fractured into 7 Indian states, collectively known as the "Seven Sisters". Of course, whatever happened to Tibet as a nation in the decades that followed 1950 is so well documented that it does not bear repetition here.
To me, as a child, hearing these stories about its history, Tibet seemed so close in spirit and yet so impossibly far in a physical sense. As I plunged into my working life, a part of me clung to this childhood fascination of Tibet and its Tibetan Buddhist culture. Years later, facing a personal earthquake of sorts, I turned to Buddhism and inevitably, like so many others before me, discovered the wonder world of Tibetan Buddhist iconography and its deep rooted connections to its Hindu and Indian counterparts. Whether passing through little dusty towns or traversing across rugged terrains or in the dim interiors of hilltop monasteries or listening to the chiming of distant temple bells, I found more than the healing I was seeking...I found art that healed.
Meanwhile, the whole activity of finding old statues and artifacts, of studying them, of grasping their meanings opened up a can of worms in my head of introspection and self-reflection. It dawned on me gradually that, whereas earlier my life was like a webpage that wasn't quite loading properly no matter how many times I clicked the reload button, now it loaded quite comfortably and made sense in many small and big ways.
And then came a new thought...why should something so extraordinary be confined to just a few? Why not offer it up to the world, to anyone with a true, heartfelt need or appreciation for it? And so starting with my own collection, Asiaticarts was born in 2011. Thus far, we have had the good fortune of having many offline appreciative buyers from India and abroad. In time, it became a viable option to have our own website. So, here we are!
Welcome to Asiaticarts! We're incredibly happy to have your company on this exciting journey.
